Vale Cricket Club Opens its new Outdoor Nets

On Saturday 1st April Vale Cricket Club formally opened its new outdoor net practice facility at the Club’s home ground in Corntown.

The facility comprises a two-bay, fully carpeted system, within an enclosed net that will provide an ideal practice facility for both the senior cricketers and the developing junior section. The nets were constructed by Clubturf who also supplied the Club’s new roll-on covers.

This new facility was part of Vale Cricket Club’s year of transition which delivered significant ground and club house improvements as set out in their 2020 Vision.

The facility was officially opened on Saturday 1st April by Alan Cairns MP, Jane Hutt AM, Peter Hybart CEO Cricket Wales & Gary Pesticcio Managing Director BridgendFord.

The new outdoor nets are another important step in their development that will enable the growing junior section to be coached in a high-quality environment. We look forward to continuing to work with the Club and monitoring their progress’.
