Safeguarding Courses

Safeguarding and Safe-hands Courses

Happy to run any other courses elsewhere as needed.

Click on the link to book on.

Payment

The usual buy one get one free deal remains, if two individuals from the same club attend the same training day, the second goes free - legally 'the buck' stops with the Chair of each club, so we actively encourage joint attendance.
The fee is subsidised at £40, which I understand is recoverable in advance from Community chest.
Two ways to pay:

  • Pay Online – If you are booking for more than one person from your club, Use the discount code BOGOF at the checkout.
  • Pay on the day – Click Pay Offline and payment will be collected on the day.

=Cricket Wales Guide to Online Safeguarding

ECB Online safeguarding is currently only available to qualified coaches. If you are not a qualified ECB coach, you will need to undertake a face to face Safeguarding and Protecting Children course.

How to Access online safeguarding course

There are three options, please check which is you.

  1. Coach Support Worker (CSW) Courses since March 2014

If you completed your CSW course since the March 2014 you will automatically be sent a link when your ECB Safeguarding Young Cricketer (SYC) needs renewal. This will be sent approximately six weeks before your qualification expires. It will give you the link to the website where you can undertake the online course again. If you try to do earlier, it will not update your certificate.

If your email address has changed, please contact either Workforce Administrator or ECB Coach Education department direct to amend and update.

  2. Level 2 Children’s, Young People & Adult Courses since 2015

If you completed either of the two Level 2 courses since the beginning of 2015 you will automatically be sent a link when your ECB Safeguarding Young Cricketer (SYC) needs renewal. This will be sent approximately six weeks before your qualification expires. It will give you the link to the website where you can undertake the online course again. If you try to do earlier, it will not update your certificate.

If your email address has changed, please contact either Workforce Administrator or ECB Coach Education department direct to amend and update.
